Method 1: Co-wash

Completely saturate hair with warm water to help open the cuticle.

Apply product to hands and distribute evenly through palms and fingers before applying to hair and scalp.

Massage into the scalp with fingertips to remove product, dirt and oils.

Add more warm water and let it run through to the ends, scrunching as you go. This helps gently clean the hair and activate the curl.

Rinse out with plenty of water.

Method 2: Deep Conditioning

Completely saturate hair with warm water.

Apply product to palms and distribute evenly through hands.

Begin applying to the ends of the hair, working product up to the mid-lengths.

Glaze any remaining product over the hair.

Once distributed evenly, use your preferred curl techniques such as wet brushing, roping, or squish to condish.

Rinse out with plenty of water, allowing some product to remain if your curls need extra moisture.

Method 3: Leave-in

After your conditioning routine, apply product to palms and distribute evenly through hair.

Use your preferred technique such as raking or praying hands.

For more accentuated curls, gently scrunch hair to encourage stronger curl formation.

Leave in and dry using your preferred method such as plopping, diffusing, or air drying.

For stronger curl definition and hold, apply gel before drying.

Can also be used for refreshing curls.
